2022 Summer Camps

NOTE: Parents must first purchase either a Full Junior or Junior Camp Only membership first, then register online here and also contact juniorprograms@nytc.ca to arrange payment to secure a spot. Available slots are estimates of capacity and may vary from week to week so we highly recommend using the waiting list as we fill up morning, afternoon and full day sessions each week.

Membership is required for registration.

The Summer Camp runs on a weekly basis in July and August. Each week, campers have the option to register for a Full Day Session, Morning-only Session (capped), or Afternoon-only Session (capped). You must register your child as a member (either a full member or camp only member) in order to register them for the Summer Camp. Each session contains on court instruction as well as off court sport games and exercises that are used to improve fitness and tennis skills. Time is made available for breaks, snacks and lunch. Campers are grouped according to age and skill level with a ratio of 1 instructor to 8 students for on court instruction (this may vary and be lower depending on City COVID-19 guidelines). The camp provides participants with tennis racquets, tennis balls and all other equipment needed for camp activities. Parents are encouraged to supply their kids each with a beach towel to sit on for breaks and snacks, which helps with social distancing practices. 

The Camp runs  rain or shine with sheltered activities for rainy days.  Equipment is provided for this Program, but members need to have proper tennis shoes.

Session Pricing + Times:

 

Weeks 1-4 and 6-8

Half Day Morning (9:00am to 12:00pm) - $250.00

Half Day Afternoon (9:00am to 12:00pm) - $240.00

Full Day (9:00am to 4:00pm) - $375.00

 

Week 5

Half Day Morning (9:00am to 12:00pm) - $200.00

Half Day Afternoon (9:00am to 12:00pm) - $190.00

Full Day (9:00am to 4:00pm) - $300.00

 

 

 

2022 Summer Camp Discounts

  • Sibling’s discount ($10.00)
  • Multi-week discount ($10.00)- applied on week(s) of registration following the first week
  • Discounts are made via e-transfer, cheque or cash directly with the Summer Camp Program Manager by the Tuesday of each respective camp week. All qualifying parents will be contacted by email at the start of every week to determine discount payout preference.

 

Registration + Payments:

  • Registration can be made online or directly via email by emailing juniorprograms@nytc.ca
  • All summer camp payments will be made off-line with the Summer Camp Program Manager. Acceptable payment options include payment by e-transfer, cheque and/or cash.
