Jennifer Bianca Weerasinghe, Club General Manager Jennifer joined the NYTC team as a tennis instructor in 2018. Jennifer pursued her Tennis Canada teaching certification and then began her career at the NYTC. During her time at the NYTC, Jennifer has held several different roles, including Tennis Instructor, Coordinator of Junior Programs, Team Lead, and Manager of Junior Programs. Jennifer has overseen all operations of the club, including facilities, staff, event, and program management. Through her time at the NYTC, she has enjoyed getting to know the membership and being a part of a tennis club with a rich culture of community. Jennifer looks forward to continuing to contribute meaningfully to the ongoing success of the NYTC this year, which is her ninth season with the club. Outside of tennis, Jennifer is a PhD Candidate at York University, while also pursuing her Human Resources designation, as well as working full-time in Human Resources/Talent Acquisition. She completed both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees at York University |

| Edward Branga, Tennis Professional Edward has been a certified tennis instructor since 2019. As an active member of the tennis community, he joined the NYTC team in 2022 and has been involved with several other organizations such as the OTA, ACE Tennis, and Philpott Tennis. Before coaching, Edward competed competitively and was a part of the Tennis Canada team.At the NYTC, Edward is involved in private instruction. Outside of tennis, he is currently an Anti-Money Laundering Analyst at BMO, applying his analytical skills to financial compliance and risk management. He is also pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Toronto Metropolitan University. |

| Tyler Panhuyzen, Tennis Professional Tyler is a certified Coach 2 and Club Pro 2 with Tennis Canada, bringing over a decade of experience. He is blessed to work with many exceptional young athletes, several of whom are ranked among the province's top players in their age category and consistently qualify for four-star events. Though most of his time is spent with high-performance juniors, Tyler is proud to help tennis players of all ages and levels improve at the game they love and enrich their tennis experience. As a player, Tyler competed in closed provincials, nationals, and junior ITF tournaments. He is also the 2013 LOSSA junior boys'singles champion and a 2015 national selection semi-finalist. In addition to his new role as part of the 2025 NYTC coaching team, Tyler is also the Founder and Director of Tennis at his own academy, The Greater Toronto Racquet Academy. Tyler's greatest ambition as a coach is to help as many tennis enthusiasts as possible discover even more joy in the game. This season, NYTC members can find Tyler on the courts and connect with him through various social media platforms under his new coaching brand, Panhuyzen Tennis, which is launching this summer. Here, Tyler will share tennis tips and content that he believes all tennis players will find impactful. Whether on the courts or online, Tyler is eager to connect with NYTC members and bring even more value to the already fantastic tennis community here. |

Joseph Teti, Tennis Professional Joseph has worked at the NYTC for several seasons, mainly through teaching private adult and junior lessons and teaching the After-School Program. Joseph pursued his Tennis Canada certification in 2018 and then began teaching tennis at several community tennis clubs in Toronto. |

Maxim Tokarev, Tennis Professional With over 7 years of coaching experience, Maxim specializes in high performance tennis development, working with athletes of all ages and levels. Maxim has coached multiple Indoor and Outdoor Provincial Singles and Doubles Champions, along with players who have achieved strong results both locally and internationally. He is a Tennis Canada Certified Club Professional 2 and currently a Coach 2 candidate.
Maxim currently coaches at Mayfair East and the Toronto Tennis Academy, where his primary focus is high performance training and long-term athlete development. While Maxim brings extensive experience in competitive tennis, he also works closely with adults and juniors of all levels, including beginners where he is dedicated to helping each player build strong fundamentals, confidence, and a clear path for improvement.
As a former high-performance player, Maxim most recently competed for York University, earning two OUA medals, being named an OUA All-Star, and the Team MVP.

Mateo Borrelli, Court Associate Mateo has been a member at the NYTC for over 10 years. He started volunteering for the club when he was 14. Since then, Mateo has been working as a court monitor and a maintenance staff member for 4 years.

Jessika Kornichenko, Court Associate Jessika has been working at the NYTC for four seasons, mainly on the court monitoring and socials team. Jessika enjoys working with the staff team and interacting with the members at the club. She is committed to facilitating a positive membership experience. Jessika enjoys playing tennis at the club as a member.

Tyler Li, Court Associate Tyler is a court monitor and junior program instructor who has been a part of the NYTC team since 2025. He is involved with the responsibility and maintenance of the NYTC facility, as well as involvement with the organization of club events. He is passionate about the community and engagement of the club and has enjoyed being part of the team. He is currently attending De La Salle College |

Michael Pirog, Court Associate Michael has been working at the NYTC for four seasons, mainly on the court monitoring team. He began volunteering at the NYTC during the 2020 season and has supported the club's summer camp program, helped maintain club conditions, and ensured member satisfaction. Outside of tennis, Michael is a student attending York University at the Keele campus, obtaining his Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Business and Finance. |
Junior Programs

Justin Chin, Junior Programs Lead Justin joined the NYTC community in 2016 and has been a member of the club for nearly a decade. Prior to stepping into a leadership role on the staff team in 2025, he developed his game through NYTC’s junior programs, giving him a strong understanding of the club’s community and culture. As Junior Programs Lead, Justin organizes high-energy sessions that help juniors develop their tennis fundamentals, confidence, and love for the sport. Outside of the club, Justin is a Grade 12 student at Earl Haig Secondary School and is entering business school in the Fall of 2026. He is a Mixed Doubles Provincial High School Champion (OFSAA) and hopes to pursue a future career in finance. |

Mika Borrelli, Tennis Instructor Mika Borrelli has been involved in the NYTC community for many years. She has enjoyed being a member and helping in various roles, such as in the junior programs and the socials. |

Brooke Cowell, Tennis Instructor Brooke has been a certified TPA member since 2025 and joined the NYTC staff team in 2025. She has been volunteering at the NYTC since 2022 and has lots of experience working with young children. Brooke loves the environment of the club and grew up around the community. She has played at NYTC recreationally for about 10 years. Outside of the club, she currently attends Earl Haig Secondary School and is preparing for upcoming university applications. She has also tutored younger kids through a program run by her school. |

Anthony Jabri-Iannicca, Junior Tennis Professional Anthony Jabri-Iannicca is a dedicated tennis player known for his professionalism, work ethic, and love of the sport. He trains daily to sharpen his technique and strengthen his mental game. He demonstrates sportsmanship and leadership with teammates and colleagues, bringing positive energy to the court with an aim to inspire other athletes. Off the court, he balances training with school and community involvement. Anthony has trained and competed in both Canada and the U.S and has completed his Instructor Level 1 certificate from Tennis Canada. |

Lindsey Trinh, Tennis Instructor Lindsey has been a member of the NYTC since being a junior and now has worked for the club’s junior programs for several seasons. Lindsey has been teaching for a few years at NYTC in the junior after school and summer camp programs. Lindsey competed on the NYTC junior team during her eligible years and now plays on adult teams. |
